We are delighted to be opening the hotel for the first wedding showcase of 2014 a week today on the 5th January

You will be able to view the hotel and appreciate what a setting it would make for your special day as well as meet our wedding team who can answer any query you have about special arrangements for your booking. The showcase will run from 2pm - 5pm and like all our wedding events are free to enter with free parking and refreshments available.

Our Grade II listed Manor House is the perfect venue regardless of the season, we also have wedding packages that allow you to concentrate on enjoying the build up to your wedding whilst we take care of everything else! If you can't make it on Sunday then we look forward to seeing you at one of our other showcases, dates coming up are;

The Hotel will be open over the festive period especially for The Christmas Day Lunch, Boxing Day Gala Dinner and New Year events.

Our 2013 New Year Black Tie event has already sold out but don't worry, our next black tie event is only 6 weeks away!

Christmas Market & Craft Fair

This Sunday between 10.30am and 4.30pm, get all your Christmas shopping done in one go!

Our Christmas market is a great opportunity to find all kinds of Christmas presents with fabulous local crafts, jewellery, fabrics, pottery, wood, glass, toys, scarves, cards, home produced jams and chutneys, handmade Christmas decorations, stocking fillers and much, much more on sale.

The event is free to enter and there is ample free car parking available on site so why not come down and see what gifts you can pick up for your loved ones. If you are looking for a winter wedding venue then come to the fair and take the chance to look round our Grade II listed Manor House Hotel and the beautiful grounds. 

The Fair is a great event with a brilliant festive atmosphere. The 2012 event was superb and enjoyed by all so let's make 2013 even better

Aerial view of Our Outdoor Wedding Venue

We often talk about the beauty of the grounds at Ringwood Hall Hotel but this aerial video truly shows what a unique setting we offer for outdoor weddings.

This unique wedding video is offered by VuAir as we blogged about in September. The video is created by a small camera being attached to a remote control helicopter that is then operated by a highly skilled pilot, different to our attempts of flying such machines on Christmas Day!

The aerial video is ideal for outdoor civil ceremonies and summer marquee weddings showing your guests enjoying the hotel and grounds. This video shows the Hotel driveway and the font of our Grade II Georgian Manor House before moving onto the gardens featuring our unique Garden Pavilion, licensed for civil ceremonies. It also shows the lawn that is bordered by our mature woodland before leading to our discretely located summer marquee that can entertain a wedding breakfast for up to 70 guests!

A massive thank you to all the bridal couples, many with their families and friends, who visited Ringwood Hall Hotel`s bridal open day on Sunday 3rd December. 

The numbers through the door were remarkable, and so were the many happy smiling faces on departure. We are just so pleased that we have been able to help so many brides in finding their perfect venue for their wedding day.

To better showcase the wonderful facilities at Ringwood Hall Hotel, in 2014 we have committed to fourteen 'Wedding Showcase' dates throughout the year, to give our existing brides, plus those looking for a venue in Derbyshire, South Yorkshire or the Peak District even more opportunities to view.

Our Bridal Open Days are very busy, and its not always been possible to have those one to one conversations with our wedding team. Hopefully the more frequent these `Wedding Showcases` are, it will be easier and more relaxing to view Ringwood Hall`s exquisite licensed suites, the fabulous four posters and feature bedrooms, plus when available our summer garden marquee.

Last bridal event of 2013

Our last bridal event of 2013 is the Autumn Bridal event on Sunday, November 3rd between 12 noon and 5pm

This is a great opportunity to everything our Grade II Manor House can offer as a wedding venue or just be a good experience to come and view our grounds, with the leaves starting to change colour the gardens look very autumnal! 

If you cant attend or need a more personal meeting in quieter moments - our wedding co-ordinators are always available to meet with you and your fiancee by set appointment in the daytime, evenings or at the weekend, please call our wedding team on 01246 280077 to make the arrangements.

As ever, the event has free parking and the bar will be open so take this opportunity to view all we have to offer!

Midweek wedding packages

There is an increasing trend of couples getting married midweek to reduce the cost of their big day.

At Ringwood Hall Hotel we want all our couples to have a magical day to remember and recognise that a midweek wedding may be more suitable for some so have developed our all inclusive midweek package. This package has proved very popular with couples who may be saving money for a house purchase, starting a family or a very expensive honeymoon!

A recent article alluded to only 2 thirds of weddings now taking place on a weekend and also mentioned other measures that couples can take to limit the wedding cost such as making your own cake, bouquet or getting a friend to drive rather than hire cars. However with our all inclusive midweek package you don't need to make any cost cutting measures as you get everything you need to make your day special.

Our open days are a perfect chance to come and see everything that our beautiful Georgian grade II listed Manor House has to offer. The grounds will also be able to be viewed though we cannot guarantee the weather that will showcase in their best light!

A special way to remember your day!

We are delighted to offer this unique and special way of remembering your wedding day from our partners at VuAir

VuAir produce these videos with the innovative use of a miniature helicopter fitted with a remotely controlled camera! Not only does the video show a different view of your wedding but it also shows off the beautiful setting of your day, obviously, prize winning gardens help!

What we also love is the reaction of the guests as the camera flies overhead, it makes a real talking point for your guests as they wave at the 'eye in the sky' If you are planning a marquee wedding then watch this video!

We chose Ringwood Hall for our wedding and are so glad we did as we could not have chosen a more perfect place. From the moment I arrived with my family the night before the staff were amazing. They looked after everyone so well on the Friday night for our family function and the rooms are all fantastic, everyone was so pleased.

Our wedding was on the Saturday and I want to give Tracey a special thank you as she was brilliant from start to finish, the whole day ran so smoothly, despite the rubbish weather and the staff could not have done more to make our wedding any better. I would recommend Ringwood Hall to anyone thinking about a wedding venue, you will not be disappointed and I’ll definitely be going back to stay again!

The I Do Magazine Wedding show is at Ice Sheffield on the 1st September, 10am - 5pm

If you cant get over to our Showround Sunday on the 1st September then why not come and see us at this wonderful event at the easy to access Ice Sheffield facility.

 Due to popular demand we have also arranged for the marquee to be available during our hotel showround on the 1st of September so the quality interior of the marquee can be appreciated as well as the outstanding setting it has in our gardens. The marquee is a semi permanent structure with everything you need for your reception and it even has it’s own parking and executive standard facilities. Our marquee wedding packages are designed to make the hire of the marquee affordable.
