This week at Ringwood Hall Hotel

It's a busy start to the year as we welcome many new faces and old friends back to our Grade II Listed Manor House

Our first midweek showcase is today, running from 2pm - 7pm and is the perfect chance to see what a great wedding venue our Hotel can be. The event is free to attend and a perfect place to escape the chilly January afternoon imagining how your summer wedding bathed in sunshine could look

We also offer a number of different wedding packages that allow your day to be affordable as well as the most special one you could ever have. Our wedding planning staff will be on hand to answer any questions that you have. If you can't make today then there are plenty of other showcases planned. 

On Sunday is our black tie dinner in honour of burns night. This is an annual event at Ringwood that is always a favourite of those who attend it. For only £24.50 your ticket includes; 

• "Bubbly" & canapes on arrival
• a delicious four course dinner served in candlelight surroundings
• dancing to the sounds of our resident Club Tropicana Disco until late

There are also accommodation packages that we offer alongside tickets for this event. 

Sunday 5th January, Our first wedding showcase in 2014

We are delighted to be opening the hotel for the first wedding showcase of 2014 a week today on the 5th January

You will be able to view the hotel and appreciate what a setting it would make for your special day as well as meet our wedding team who can answer any query you have about special arrangements for your booking. The showcase will run from 2pm - 5pm and like all our wedding events are free to enter with free parking and refreshments available.

Our Grade II listed Manor House is the perfect venue regardless of the season, we also have wedding packages that allow you to concentrate on enjoying the build up to your wedding whilst we take care of everything else! If you can't make it on Sunday then we look forward to seeing you at one of our other showcases, dates coming up are;

Last bridal event of 2013

Our last bridal event of 2013 is the Autumn Bridal event on Sunday, November 3rd between 12 noon and 5pm

This is a great opportunity to everything our Grade II Manor House can offer as a wedding venue or just be a good experience to come and view our grounds, with the leaves starting to change colour the gardens look very autumnal! 

If you cant attend or need a more personal meeting in quieter moments - our wedding co-ordinators are always available to meet with you and your fiancee by set appointment in the daytime, evenings or at the weekend, please call our wedding team on 01246 280077 to make the arrangements.

Midweek wedding packages

There is an increasing trend of couples getting married midweek to reduce the cost of their big day.

At Ringwood Hall Hotel we want all our couples to have a magical day to remember and recognise that a midweek wedding may be more suitable for some so have developed our all inclusive midweek package. This package has proved very popular with couples who may be saving money for a house purchase, starting a family or a very expensive honeymoon!

A recent article alluded to only 2 thirds of weddings now taking place on a weekend and also mentioned other measures that couples can take to limit the wedding cost such as making your own cake, bouquet or getting a friend to drive rather than hire cars. However with our all inclusive midweek package you don't need to make any cost cutting measures as you get everything you need to make your day special.

Autumn Bridal Event

We will be holding our next Bridal event on Sunday, November 3rd between 12 noon and 5pm

The doors will be open to show brides all our licensed suites, our fabulous four posters and feature rooms as well as being able to see the venue and meet the staff who will make your special day so memorable!

Many of our closest wedding services suppliers will also be on hand to speak to, willing to answer any questions and provide information you require.

Our open days are a perfect chance to come and see everything that our beautiful Georgian grade II listed Manor House has to offer. The grounds will also be able to be viewed though we cannot guarantee the weather that will showcase in their best light!

Our staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have and the day is free admission with free parking!

A special way to remember your day!

We are delighted to offer this unique and special way of remembering your wedding day from our partners at VuAir

VuAir produce these videos with the innovative use of a miniature helicopter fitted with a remotely controlled camera! Not only does the video show a different view of your wedding but it also shows off the beautiful setting of your day, obviously, prize winning gardens help!

What we also love is the reaction of the guests as the camera flies overhead, it makes a real talking point for your guests as they wave at the 'eye in the sky' If you are planning a marquee wedding then watch this video!

Bridal Boudoir Photo Shoot Experience

Ringwood Hall Hotel has joined with Amanda McConnell, a Chesterfield based lifestyle photographer, to offer something very special for brides to be who are looking for a special gift for their future husband or a timeless keepsake for themselves.

On the day of your shoot, your Bridal Boudoir Photo ShootExperience will take place in a beautiful suite at

Ringwood Hall Hotel, where you can indulge in a glass or more of something fizzy with some homemade

Strawberry Tea This Sunday at Ringwood Hall Hotel

Between 2pm and 5pm this Sunday (18th August) Come and join us for a delicious Strawberry Tea and help raise money for Breast Cancer Care and the Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Appeal.

We are holding this excellent event at Ringwood Hall Hotel to support a charity that is close to us all here and invite you and your friends to come and share the afternoon with us and enjoy some relaxation in the grounds of our Georgian grade II listed Manor House.

The I Do Magazine Wedding show is at Ice Sheffield on the 1st September, 10am - 5pm

If you cant get over to our Showround Sunday on the 1st September then why not come and see us at this wonderful event at the easy to access Ice Sheffield facility.

The venue for a 'fantastic wedding'

We are delighted that all the staff at Ringwood Hall Hotel helped make Kerry's day so special and we hope that all the couples that get married here in 2013 have a similar experience.

Our wedding venue is second to none but we appreciate it is the small things that make your day so smoothly. Our team have dozens of years experiencing in ensuring any type of wedding goes smoothly and it was great to hear that Kerry found Lyndon to be a 'god send' Your wedding day experience is tailored around yourselves and your party, you can have a bespoke wedding or choose from one of our competitively priced packages 

Kerry stayed in the Renishaw suite, one of our four poster bed rooms and which has just had major refurbishment! It features a king sized  four poster bed, magnificent regal white furniture including a chaise longue, a 40" plasma TV, and a chandeliered ensuite room with feature bath that is absolutely stunning. The Renishaw must be one of most beautiful 4 poster rooms in Derbyshire!

Showcase Sunday on the 30^th June at Ringwood Hall Hotel

This Sunday our magnificent Georgian grade 11 listed Manor House will be open for all you brides to view and appreciate what a location it would be for your dream wedding! Take your time to see where you can exchange your vows or where you will welcome your guests for a reception after the church! If you prefer a marquee wedding then our exceptional summer garden marquee will also be open for you to look round.

Take this opportunity to inspect the accommodation that would be available to your wedding party by looking at our fabulous fourposters and feature rooms and appreciate the exquisite period décor in our licensed suites.
